Toch even een paar voorbeelden:
- "The awkward moment when you go into your wardrobe to find Narnia, but instead end up just being a moron stuck in your wardrobe"

- "The awkward moment when someone walks in on you singing to yourself."

- "The awkward moment when you go completely out of your way to avoid someone and then end up running into them anyway"
'Ah........ hai meneer......'
Hoe triest... Voor niks die omweg gefietst.

En hoe Awkward is dat allemaal?
Take a look at my awkward face:

xliefs,
Vera

Red Carpet

Your red carpet, is it glamorous? Or is it full of adventure?
I don't mean the red carpet at the Grammy's or the Oscar's or whatever,
I mean the red carpet that leads you through life and all the beautiful things that come with it.
It's rolled out, hopefully all over the world, but maybe only in your homecountry. That would be a shame: the world has so much more to offer than that what you know now. Let's be honest: who of you guys has been in all 5 continents already?
I guess no-one has... But maybe your red carpet has several directions. Life doesn't want you to take a straight path. It probably wants you to go off-road.
Take a trip down under in Australia, go hiking in Europe, have lessons from a zen-master in Asia.
You name it, life has it.
The only thing is:
you should not blindly follow your red carpet, try to be a daredevil and go off-road:

Harry pottaaaah

I'm in love, i think.
Ron Weasley is my new hero. Don't you guys think he is awesome?
And now don't say: huh, Ron Weasley?? Who the hell is that??
Because if you don't know him, you're an ass, and you've been living under a stone for the past 10 years.
I normally don't dig the ginger-kids, but even I have to admit that he's pretty cute, right?
A couple of weeks ago a friend and I decided to throw a Harry Potter Marathon at het place. And so we did.
We sat up all night watching Harry Potter part 1-6. Though I must admit I fell asleep halfway part 4. We decided to take a nap (at 4 am) and continue at 9 am, so after we had breakfast we went back to bed and laid there for another 4 hours.
WE LOVED IT. Every time Ron entered the scene we started laughing even when he didn't say anything... Just his face makes me smile already.
During the Christmas break we'll go to the cinema to see the latest one: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. And this is the point where I need your advice:
Is it cooler in 3D or will we be having nightmares after watching?

I'll soon post something new, and something that hopefully will actually be interesting, in the meanwhile you might enjoy my other online pages,

Lucky

Do you guys ever feel like you're the luckiest person alive?
Because i do!

As I get older, i more and more start to realise how lucky we all are to live in a wealthy country, to be able to have enough food and water, every single day. I don't dare say i am one of the wealthiest persons on earth, because i'm not, but we're just lucky. Lucky to have a home, to have a family and to have a bed.

I learn to appreciate every little detail in my life.
No my life isn't perfect. I have my ups and downs and some days I just want to put the tellie on, wrap a blanket around me and eat some chocolate. But then again, at least we have blankets, telivisions and chocolate, and sometimes I wonder how people survive without these things. Not that they're lifesaving, but these are the moments when i feel lucky. Lucky to have so many opportunities in life, to travel around the world, to be able to go to school (though I sometimes hate school, I admit...), and to be able to sleep in a house, in a bed, with a blanket :)

Maybe the little things are luxurious enough for me. I dare say I don't need much things. I've got everything I need and no, that doesn't mean I have everything I want, that's a whole other story. We're going to talk about that? That will be and endless list, full of clothes, journeys, furniture, jewelry and so, so much more. but these things aren't necessary, it just would be real real nice to have 'em, but hey, you won't here me complaining, because I truly think,
i am lucky

BELLA ROMA

I'm packing my bags, because: I'M OFF TO ROME!
how awesome's that?
yeah, pretty cooool

So be prepared, because when I come back, I'll have plenty of inspiration from the city of love, city of food, city of cute boys!

It's a school trip and I guess I'll be exhausted by the time I come home, because we'll be walking for hours every single day. But in the evenings we're free to go wherever we want! Only thing is: we've got to be "home" at eleven. The doors of the convent will be closed after eleven, so if you're not back on time, you'll have to sleep outside. Which is pretty cool too actually...

Okay, this isn't really interesting so imma stop writing, and continue packing,
see you next sunday!

Happiness

Hey you guys!

I noticed I don't need much to be happy. (Pretty sure that's a good thing. No 'Material girl', that only causes bitchfights)

Just some good friends, a dinnertable and a delicious meal.
Food unites people, that's for sure!
You should all try it. Get together on a saturday night, cook something you all like, and a nice evening is guaranteed. Talking, eating, drinking and laughing, can it get any better?
Oh and by the way, it doesn't even really matter whether the food is delicious. Gross things can be pretty fun too :)

Another thing that makes me feel terribly happy is music. Making music, listening to music or everything else you can do with music: i love it!

Whenever you're sad: listen a happy song! (for instance: Waylon - Happy Song, though that one gets really annoying after a while... you'd better listen to Wicked World by Laura Jansen) If you're feeling nervous, or anxious about something, listen to Glee - Don't stop believing.
When you feel like crying- and no, that isn't the same as feeling sad) you have 2 options:
- Cry, and listen to slow music, for example Fond au Noir bij Coeur de Pirate (I'm a huuuuge fan of their music by the way, doesn't matter what mood I'm in!)
- Try to smile again, and listen to uptempo songs like Jack McManus' 'Bang on the Piano' or one of my favourites: Frontin' by Jamie Cullem, the most genious man alive, in my opinion! though he's pretty u-g-l-y and he ain't got no alibi
Bad jokes.... Oh how I love 'em...

And this may sound weird, but the wheather makes me feel good too! Now I can hear you guys thinking: "I thought the wheather was bad in Holland?"
Yeah it is, most of the times... But every season brings something I love:
1. Springtime: okay this one's easy: flowers & t-shirts
2. Summer: does this really need an explanation?
3. Autumn. While some of you are thinking: she's mad, I think you're right... but I can't help it, I just enjoy hockeying in the pooring rain. Not just some raindrops, but raindrops the size of tennisballs and being totally soaked. And yes, I admit, that's pretty strange... I've one acceptable reason for loving the autumn: the colours. The pretty red, orange and yellow trees are just wonderful!
4. Winter. I've got to confess: I hate the cold, BUT, the snow is awesome. And it makes me feel happy, sitting inside with a cup of hot chocolate and lots of cookies, watching series online, or on TV.
Enough reasons for you?

I don't think you need reasons to be happy, at all. Sometimes you're just happy, just because... Well, just because!
No reason neccesary!
Just be happy!
